The next meeting for the Friends of Gloucestershire Libraries has been arranged for Wednesday 10th November at 7pm in the Local History Room above Cheltenham Children’s Library.
This will be our first meeting after the government spending review is announced on October 20th so we anticipate that there will be plenty to discuss!
All welcome – we hope to see you there!
If you would like further information please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the meantime please do lobby your MP and councillors urging them to speak up for our library service. If you are not sure who your councillors or MP is you can easily find all the details you need using the Write to Them website. Neil, one of our group members, has penned a template letter that you are welcome to download and edit as you wish by clicking on this link – FOCL Template Campaign Letter. Don’t forget that if you personalise the letter by adding why libraries are important to you, you are likely to have more impact. This is the time to make your voice heard!
