Staff Shortages Lead to Reduced Opening Hours

On Saturday 16th October the Gloucestershire Echo reported that, due to staff shortages, Prestbury Library’s opening hours had to be reduced. The council has substantially cut the book budget and has cut staff, both of which impact on service delivery. What will it cut next?  The Echo’s Editor shares our concerns. If you are worried about Gloucestershire’s library service please feel free to attend our next meeting on 10th November at 7pm in the local history room at Cheltenham Library. See you there!
